The long awaited alcohol ignition interlock sensor capable of meeting the severe European CENELEC test specification is now available for customer evaluation.
Based on the 16 mm round wafer pattern, it comfortably meets the requirement involving 30 cycles through +85C.
Enquiries to other sensor manufacturers have not turned up any comparable product. In an extended trial it survived cycling between -40C and +85C for 500 hours.
Samples are now being evaluated by customers world-wide! A datasheet is available on request.
