Formaldehyde Sensor, 11mm, High Catalyst Content
This HCHO formaldehyde sensor is of the two-electrode electrochemical type, operating by the diffusion principle and as such requires no external sampling hardware. In the presence of formaldehyde gas a small direct current is produced; the sensor requires no power supply of its own but this current requires amplification to make it readable using external data collection equipment.
Two electrode design does not require a power source.
Lower detection limit of 30ppb.

This HCHO formaldehyde sensor is identical to the regular formaldehyde sensor apart from containing increased catalyst content.
Recent testing has been unable to identify any significant performance benefit from this difference; we have kept the product available for compatibility purposes.
This version is likely to have a higher value for the upper limit of measurement, however our calibration equipment is currently unable to produce an accurate formaldehyde concentration high enough to evaluate this prediction.
